They want a way to get rid of acne, the redness, the irritation, the ugly red bumps. Yes, they would want a cream, like proactive. To learn how to succeed at affiliate marketing you need to think like your potential customer, be them and really get in there head. People are looking all over the internet for something, help or advice, they are all in need.

So step in front and give them the answer. The second thing people struggle with… is finding keywords that will actually lead to sales, they are too broad. It’s not about how much traffic they get, it’s about how relevant your ad is to your potential customers needs. Say you pick acne as your keyword, how do you know what your customer wants. They could be researching acne, looking for an acne cure, writing an article on acne. Now if you keyword was how to cure acne, your chances of making a sale just went through the roof. Your ad or landing page or review is now relevant to what you potential customer wants.

Try targeting buying keywords and using modifiers to describe your target market more clearly. Learn to find people who are buying and not just looking. Once you have found them your offer is more relevant and the sale is easier. I know what your thinking to succeed at affiliate marketing you need traffic. Yes you do, but the right traffic. You need targeted traffic that has already been warmed up and is now ready to buy. Learn the 3 stages of the buying cycle and you will realize that targeting people later in the buying cycle, using relevant keywords and highly targeted traffic, will teach you how to succeed at affiliate marketing. Keep plugging away, success is not overnight.
